The Secret Garden of the Buddhas is hidden in the mountains of Samui. You can see several statues, temples and waterfalls which were built by a man in the last 20 years.

By itself, the visit worth the trip. But as the only access road to the temple is a military road, it may be difficult to get there if it is closed.

The only other way to access the site is the four-wheel drive vehicle, crossing jungles, rivers and mountains. Starting from Lamai behind the main temple, the crossing takes about 2 hours. If you intend to explore the temple, and if you are not an off-road driver confirmed, consider carrying a mobile phone in case you would stay stuck.

Another way may be less stressful to get there is to join one of the many tours offered by travel agencies and resorts.
